I was contemplating getting the older model as it is way cheaper, but I am so happy I didn't the new back cushioning is great I saw the older model in the store and think the 2011 definitely holds kids better in position especially younger ones. It rides nice and smooth and navigates with ease. My baby loves it and loves to nap in it. Don't like that the cup holder is still not standard, but not a deal breaker. Anyway it is a great stroller we have a secondary one from Germany which I love for nice walks so the BOB is for working out only for now. Great purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone else.
